From the Shed: Turkish Leopard

This has been another tank that I’ve had for ages half finished. Inspired by the news I painted it up in Turkish colours but never really got round to finish it. I tried to go with the offical MIG pigments fixative liquid, not quite sure it worked well. I think less might be more with them…

The base model is the 1/72nd Hasegawa Leopard 2A4.

Another top job Pete, looks great on the slab!

  6. Very nice work Pete, I’m loving the colours and weathering you’ve managed to achieve on this!

    Cheers Roger.

  7. Hey Missed this one! Great job on this tank! Love the weathering! Super looking:) I’m hoping to do a Northag BattleGroup from PSC in 1/72 game soon. I’ll send pics. It will be lil hard to run cause I’m trying to make US army sheet Tank stats etc. and the ranges in book are for 10mm so we are just x2ing the whole deal:) The Rules look ok they are supposed to be making other scale sheets and other Vehicle info. Sheets for US and German etc Horthag group was a little of everything not just British so hoping they have them soon. The book was a bit of a Let down really:( it’s made for larger forces then in BattleGroup WW2 I’m hoping they will make a Nicer Hard cover Color book and a way to make it more in line with WW2 Rules! Well take care my friend. Sorry about more lock down. The thing about all this is it has to run its course. Our economy in the west will fall apart if we let it:( The mask don’t really do that much:( If we all locked down for year and came out and just a few people were ill it all starts again:( Well Stay safe.
God Bless you and yours:) God Bless all the readers on here as well:)

      Thanks Dave.

I’ve looked at those ruiles too. They seem to be set at a higher command level than the WW” ones. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you do with it. My friend hjas been buying up some 10mm stuff and ~I keep threatening to get some 10mm stuff from my printer… I guess 1 more scale won’t hurt right…?

Economy is collapsing here too- prices going up everywhere too. Business are faltering everywhere. Guess we just have to let it play out.

Looks great – the dusty weathering looks spot on and adds a lot to the model.
