I’ve been using lockdown to get my Nurgle army painted, getting very close to it being finished now.
Over the next few days I’ll put up a series of posts showing what I’ve added to it…
First up some Character models:
Felthius, Typhus and a Lord of Contagion.
Tallyman, Malignant Plaguecaster, Plague Surgeon and Foul Blightspawn.
Some of these I’ll be able to use in Kill Team too which should be fun.
Cheers,
Pete.
Very nice Pete and rather different from what I typically associate you with. Great stuff.
Thanks. Always good to try different things. I’m looking forward to being able to do a full army shot soon.
Cheers,
Pete.
Mean looking bunch there, Pete! 🙂 I like ’em!
Thanks John, they should be fun in the game as they have a whole set of special abilities for them.
Cheers,
Pete.
Very nice, Pete! Great inspiration to have a go at some figures myself!
Thanks Jeff. I’d be very interested to see how you do them.
Cheers,
Pete.
Very nice Pete, I especially like the creative bases!
Thanks Faust- always try to do my SF/ 40k bases different to my plainer historical ones.
Cheers,
Pete.
Lookin’ good! These lads will make the plague father proud. 🙂 Reminds me that my Death Guard have been somewhat neglected lately. Out of curiosity why did you decide to put Typhus on a square base? Not that it looks bad or anything, he’d certainly scare the hell out of any WHFB armies that crossed his path!
Thanks. I hope they bring me victories on the table as my recent Kill Team results have not been good.
As for Typhus- he came in a job lot from a Facebook buy without a base so I had to knock one up, and I only had some square MDF bases of a suitable size spare. Would be fun to drop him into the old WHFB system though- back in the 80s Relam of Chaos stuff you could get 40k weaponms for your fantasy armies….
Cheers,
Pete.
Nice work, Pete!
Thanks Dave.
Cheers,
Pete.
Very nice work Pete, have been reading a lot of old White dwarf Magazines lately as a friend from work was binning them out, so now have more of an idea as to who these chaps are 😊.
I like the square base, it makes him stand out from the crowd.
Cheers Roger.
Thanks Roger- funnily enough I did throw away a lot of White Dwarfs… took up too much space but there were a few artyicles I wished I’d saved now.
Cheers,
Pete.
These look absolutely horrible and vile Pete, well done 🙂
Thank you. It is nice to have an army you can do these kinds of schemes on.
Cheers,
Pete.
Like TIM said a bit different from your norm, nice work mate!
Thanks Pat- always good to do dfifferent things I think.
Cheers,
Pete.
Nice change of pace for you Pete and you’ve done these quite brilliantly!
Thanks Mark. Nice to do some larger scale stuff.
Cheers,
Pete.
Disgustingly well done there, Pete!
Thanks Azazel- they do suit my painting style. The standard hertic chaos space marines and me aren’t getting on at the moment.
Cheers,
Pete.
Haha! 🙂
Far more trim around the armour edges than I’m happy painting….
Cheers,
Pete.
Nice use of those colours, they look great!
Thank you Marvin.
Cheers,
Pete.
