From the Shed: Late War Brits.

One of my 20mm projects was to do a platoon of late war Brits. To be a bit different I’ve gone for a platoon’s worth of figures in the Windproof 2 piece camo suit (mostly beccause my gaming friends have standard Brits….)

I’ve just finished up a test section of figures to get my colours down.

The figures are all from AB bought here.

Right now I’ve got those done I can work on getting the full lot done.

Cheers,

Pete.

Looking good there mate. I’ll have to get more of my ‘Storm of Eagles’ Germans painted up so they can have a scrap with each other.

    They look ace 👍

  3. I like them, Pete! 🙂 Nice to see something a little bit different!

Beautiful work, Pete! I have a goat to do more figures this year. The surface of the stone you shoot your photos on would make excellent basing material!

  5. Very nice, you rarely seem to see late war British, and these are very nicely done sir!

    Cheers Roger.

  6. You taught me something new here – was unaware that late war Brits were differently uniformed. Nice work on these Pete!

Thanks Mark- I don’t think it was ever a full replacement of the khaki battle dress rather an additional item. Some of the troops in Korea at the start of the war used it too so I guess that would be an extra use for my figures.

      Cheers,

      Pete.

Wait – I can’t see any figures? Just some clumps of foliage… 😉

Always like your camo work and this works very nicely.
