From the Shed: Nurgle Daemon Engines… take two.

I don’t know what is happening to my posts. Things aren’t saving in drafts properly. I create a post then when it gets published there is nothing there. Will be a user error I’m sure… no matter.

I’ve painted up a Mythitic Blight Hauler (r) and a Fetid Bloat Drone (l) for my Death Guard 40k army. THey are the easy build models so were quick to build and fun to paint. Should be good to use in the game as they are surprisingly fast for my force yet still pack quite a punch.

Cheers,

Pete.

Something of an update.

Apologies for neglecting the blog of late. On top of my studying I’ve been a bit ill but started some new meds that should fix it. Basically I’ve got a vitamin D deficiency that has left me really tired all the time.

I’ve still be chipping away at my painting and have mostly been sticking to the plan I laid out some time ago. I’ll try to get one or two posts out a week to try and catch up and show you what I’ve done. It has mostly been 40k stuff as that is what I’ve been playing the most so it makes sense to keep doing that.

Cheers,

Pete.

Yay me: I won the Storm of Steel giveaway.

The Storm of Steel giveaway draw was this weekend and my name came up winning me a free set of rules from Too Fat Lardies. Congrats too for Al;ex getting to 5000 subscribers, it is great seeing historical gaming grow on You Tube.

I chose the new O group rules from Too Fat Lardies. I’ve enjoyed the battle reports that Alex has uploaded on to his Storm of Steel website and fancy giving it a go myself. I reckon it would look great in 6mm, especially as I’ve a load of terrain in that scale now.

Even better the rules and tokens arrived today- amazingly fast delivery – many thanks to the Too Fat Lardies team for getting it out so quickly.

Look out for my first game on the blog….

Cheers,

Pete.
