From the Shed: Some 40k odds and sods.

As I had the lightbox set up I thought I’d take a few pictures…

First up is some of the old 90s Necxromunda Orlock figures.

I also painted up a box of the objectives that came out around the launch of 9th ed.

I do like bits like this as they can act as inspirastion for a scenario… tempted to make an Imperial archeological dig for them like when the Necrons were first introduced to 40k, also back in the 90s.

  1. All very nice, Pete! 🙂 I like those objective bits and pieces!

  2. Well you seem to have got the hang of that light box Pete and the figures and photo’s all look great. 🙂

  3. The light box and background certainly improve the photos Pete

Some of the best Stargate episodes started out with bits just like those! Ooooo … we found a thingy!

  5. Really like the objective markers. They don’t seem as grimdark as later stuff in the 40k universe. That throne on tank tracks is just great. You need a dude sitting on it, proselytizing xenos to the one and true god of mankind: The Emprah!

Love these Pete. The light box and background has brought out the quality.

It’s always good to see the “old” figures, and you are clearly getting use out of your light box already?

Very nice all round. I’ve always had a soft spot for those old Orlocks, going to mix a few Catachan heads into my new Orlocks to recapture that vibe.

  10. Very nice stuff there mate, I particularly like the Necron emerging from the little portal thingy!

    Cheers Roger,

Great stuff across the board here, Pete – love the old-school Necro models!
